It was smaller than the new “Mini” parked in front of it. Dearest BMW, I know English isn’t your first language, but even so this is getting out of hand. Also, according to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the word mini means the same thing in German. You’re not even trying anymore. Shit, Bavaria, get it together.
In related news, I now want a two door XJ.

Could say the same thing about the fiat 500.

Even though XJs are still pretty common in Finland I have only seen only 2 examples of the 2 door version (not counting the pickups).

No. NO. We’re not going there.

The bigger they’ve made them, the more they’ve sold. As much as I hate to see them get GTI sized, BMW is going to do whatever it takes to make them sell. Heck, the 4 door is an abomination visually, but only a few months into sales, it’s already on pace to become their best selling model by the end of summer.

To be fair, the XJ is fucking tiny. My 4Runner makes them look small, and it’s within a couple of inches of my Mom’s Vibe in length, and it’s narrower.

You’ve always wanted a 2-door Cherokee, you just now realized it.

Oh definitely... now I wonder why people love them so much... hmmm.

The engine. The opposite of the 4Runner.

I’m routinely amazed at how small my XJ looks next to say, a new Accord. It’s crazy.

I know. They look so good in sweet action shots.

I like the ZJ more, the unibody is stiffer. Both have interior rattles which I’m not used to.
